Lemonade Stand

I started the month with $20.00 and at the end of the month I had $48.73. Which is a net gain of $28.23. Pretty poor in my opinion.

PSA: Cyberbullying

After watching a PSA about cyberbullying I have learned something highly important. Justin Bieber has glasses, and that people are much more cruel than we want or believe them to be. I've never seen an instance in which one person has been singled out and picked on in my life. Personally I find such cruelty unimaginable, but it happens; I know that I can't empathize with others because I've never had such an experience with cyberbullying, but I do agree that it is despicable and should be prevented.

Color Replacement

These are the result of my adventure in color replacement. Not too exotic fortunately. (Or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it.)

Halcyon Days

A rythmic story fit for the younger audience! (Poetry, Hurray!). Though this is a great story for all ages.

Zooburst (actual one)

This story is completely random, hopefully funny and great for all ages! (maybe)
Enjoy!

Only 50% of our Nation Votes

I feel that this is reasonable, though sad. The campaigns that the representatives run and the ad's that are on TV are extremely negative and excessive. This turns people off from voting, also a lot of people just don't care about the government. So maybe instead of bashing the other said, our government should raise awareness and motivation among voters.

Affects of Hurricane Sandy

On October 29th, the Superstorm (previously a hurricane) came smashing down upon the U.S. east coast. This devastating natural disaster has torn 98 lives from our world. Those not killed lost their homes and vehicles. We can help these people by starting a fundraiser to help these people receive temporary shelter and transportation.

Social Media in Election

Social Media allows information to spread quickly among the people. However, due to it's constant usage, social media can spread false information, whether it be statistics or advertisements, social media is the main source of misinformation among people. The presidential candidates are using this misinformation to further their own cause, and hinder that of their opponents. Social media allows us to debate our own political ideas and motives, this gives us a sense of participation that would be harder to achieve without social media. All in all social media is a very effective means of spreading the word, as long as you are sure of the credibility of the work you are reading.

The Big Deal about the iPhone 5

To tell you the truth I don't know much about the iphone 5, so I'm going to tell you what this review page I have open says about it. It has a larger, longer screen, it has a faster A6 processor, it's thin and feather light (which doesn't seem to be a new feature to me). It's main disad. is that apple maps is sketchy on it, it also needs a different adaptor than the typical apple one. All in all however it seems to be a very good phone.

My Home Town

For the first eight or so years of my life, I live in Angleton, TX. Angleton is about as interesting as it gets, it's filled with swampy bayous (or at least in the area that I lived), and with wonderful creatures such as alligators, swarms of mosquitos, and lovable water moccasins, and many others. It was a wonderful climate of about 98 degrees and 100% humidity, perfect outdoor weather! It was about 20 minutes away from the nearest store from where we lived and the roads were filled with pot-holes, in other words it makes accidents caused by sleepy drivers impossible. All in all my time in Texas was fun, (though there are some things I don't miss).

Social Learning

Social Learning
On the subject of online learning I, of course, have an opinion. That opinion is, that they are a good idea in some instances, such as students who work most of the time and have little time to actually sit in a class. However, if I had the option, I would prefer to be in a real classroom with a teacher present. This is just my opinion though.

The Good and BAD of Facebook

Personally I don't like Facebook, however I'm not entitled to an opinion because I don't have an account.
So let's start with the good, it allows you to communicate with friends over long distances, making out of state/country relationships less dificult, (A phone does this too). One thing that it does do that a phone can't is you can meet new people, this is great if you are a people person (unlike me). But it also allows people to coordinate mass events easier than a phone, but I would prefer a videochat. As you can see I'm very biased, however you are entitled to your opinion, so I won't bug you any longer.

Reflection of My Summer

I had a very laid back summer, so in other words this is going to be very boring, just a warning. Mostly I hung out with my family, I helped coach intro fencing classes, I fenced, and did homework. My favorite part of this summer was the first week, because I got out of school and I didn't have to go back for a long time. The worst part was me getting sick the last two weeks. I'm still sick, making a total of four weeks now, kind of bothersome but that's okay, I just hope I don't develop pneumonia, but I'll be fine.
